Marco Paiva
Born in Covilhã, a city in the Centre Region of Portugal, on the 30th August 1980. College Degree in Theatre - Actors Training by the Escola Superior de Teatro e Cinema (Theatre and Film University). Concluded in 2008 the European Course of Theatrical Improvement École Des Meitres, directed by Brazilian director Enrique Diaz (CIA of Actors). Invited actor of the Comuna, a Research Theatre, since 2006. It has been collaborating with other institutions such as the D. Maria II National Theatre, O Bando Theatre, Trindade Theatre, Mala Voadora Company, Culturgest or São Luiz Municipal Theatre.
Has worked with a wide range of directors such as João Ricardo, João Mota, Emmanuel Demarcy-Mota, Enrique Diaz, Álvaro Correia and Jorge Andrade. Staged texts of Franz Kafka, Gogol, Ionesco, Pirandello and others. In cinema has worked with Miguel Martí, Joaquim Leitão, João Pedro Rodrigues, Dinis Costa, Edgar Pera and José Fonseca e Costa.
Collaborates with the educational and artistic project Crinabel Theatre (special needs actors, cognitively) since 2000, and since 2008 assumed its coordination.
Created in 2011 the initiative "Laboratory Theatre" which is intended to train teachers/trainers and monitors in the field of drama and theatre.
